The bars feel perfect. My arms are just a hair under being straight out, about nip level. The whole job took about 4 hours taking my time. So glad I didn’t have to remove the fairing.
The Adversary mirrors didn’t come with acorn nuts or washers so I installed the Amazon set I bought last week.
The 10” windshield is a night and day difference in wind noise. Two problems with it though… no wind breeze so it’s effing HOT, and buffeting coming from under the fairing… dammit. Albeit only at speeds about 65, but that’s 90% of my riding.
Installed the heated grips while I did the bars. I’ve got the old revision hand control modules so I’ll need Harley to perform the PAB1175 service bulletin procedure to enable them.
Garage door controller is installed along with the jiffy stand sensor. Those need to be enabled as well.
I think those are the tallboy bars right? I have the same ones right now but dealer installed. Is there any adjustability with those bars, like could you rotate them back towards the fairing any to provide a more extended reach? I know theres not a lot of room but just curious if theres any at all adjustability. Was also wondering on the stock bars if this is possible at all. Ive seen videos of the road glide having 27 degrees adjustability nothing about the street glide. I could just use another inch or so. When I get my extended reach seat I should be just fine though. Shoulda asked HD but was not there when they installed.

Yes, theres adjustability and its simple to do. Pull the media tray out and then use a long ball end hex bit (Allen) to loosen the two visible bolts on the clamp. Adjust as you wish. Tighten to 25 ft lbs.
Although not under ideal circumstances...Congrats on the new bike Brandon! It's a looker!! But then I love me some white. My current (and previous 5 or 6) truck is white as is my wife's car. My previous 2012 UC was White Hot Pearl. Unfortunately white was not an option in 2020 so I went with an unconvential color but really like it. If HD releases an updated 2024/2025 RGL in white, it will be very hard to stay away from. By the way...I'm expecting a mid year (2024.5) CVO Ltd.
And the thread count is very impressive! Almost 200 at about 2 weeks. You'll blow by the 1000 on this go-around in no time at all. Once again...Congrats!!
They are exactly like the orange adversary grips. Instead of the orange accents, they are bare.
these are on my list of things to do yet. Too bad they dont have some kind of fairing fan that blows hot engine air at you on cooler rides. That would be cool.
