Just did my 1000 mile oil change on the CVO/ST and was amaze to see that it uses a some type of non metal oil pan and the traditional oil and transmission plugs can be removed and reinstalled by hand, the primary is still the traditional metal drain plug with a magnetic tip.
The manual says to change the oil drain plug O-ring but no one at local dealer can provide a part# and I am unable to find the any info on the web, so if any one here knows, care to share?
It’s always enlightening to see so many HD branded items made somewhere else - plugs made in India, crash bars made in Vietnam, jacket made in Bangladesh, whole Pan Am made in Thailand (or at least assembled and vin’d from there). Shame. That’s the way it goes these days.
