Default exteded warranty and tire plan

What is everyones thoughts on the ext warranty and tire plan. Just bought a RG, salesperson told me my warranty is 2.6 years because of some promotion HD was running. im 50/50 going to add an aftermarket cam and exhaust. With all the electronics is it still worth having it? Not sure harley would cover the electronics if i have aftermarket parts. Dealer also told me about a screaming eagle plan that insure and screaming eagle parts (cam etc..). Tire one seems like it may be worth it. Any thoughts from experience riders.
Thanks

Default Warranty

I made the dealer mistake on my 17 and a year later hd voided my warranty when trans broke, I did add a tmax, which my bad, but today, supposed they still legally can't void your warranty, but on my 20 ultra I bought the ESP warranty soke of by baxter and dk customs, because the newer bikes are so electronic reliant and complicated! Good luck and ride safe!!

In 2019 I bought my Ultra Limited I got a after market esp from the Motorcycle agent, Jim Palmer. I used it three times with no problems. The dealer told me they were better to deal with then HD. That said I also got another warranty for another 3 years. What I liked about it was you can use aftermarket parts like cams, exhaust and so on. Don't know about the tires and wheels. Check him out.

I recommend @Jim Palmer - MotorcycleAgent.com as well. Not only for extended warranties, but any of your insurance needs as well. He's saved me thousands of dollars over the years. And when I totaled my bike last year, his replacement coverage policy bought me a new bike with $0 out of pocket!

The ASC Warranty ESP (https://www.motorcycleagent.com/prot...d-service-plan) has an endorsement that allows your motorcycle to be modified. The coverage can extend to motorcycle with aftermarket tuners/programers, exhaust, cams, ect. Their plan has a $0 Deductible and Unlimited Mileage. Another benefit is you decide when the coverage starts. No backdating back to the original factory warranty effective date.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks
that began for the 2020 MY..I remember going through Finance on my 2020 RGS and there was a checkbox for adding SE parts and it was $150 if you want to add and have warranty coverage for their performance parts .. but you still needed to have them added within the first 60 days of purchase to be considered as factory warranty and beyond with ESP.. just another nickel and dime revenue grab from them..I declined and for the first time ever left my engine bone stock and that 114 rewarded me with over 4 years and ~75,000 of 100% trouble free miles..I declined the SE or ESP stuff on my new 24 but did an AC and SEPST anyway. I think these M8 powertrains are solid and reliable enough after 8 model years to trust, if properly maintained and left alone, for the most part

I believe, if you go with all Harley parts, installed by a dealer, you're still covered by extended warranty .
