Hmm, I thought this would be bigger news... Everyone is complaining about the lack of a Road Glide Ultra/Limited and here's an Easter egg showing a CVO RGU, but no discussion related to it.
Maybe this is overshadowed by the factory race bike (?) they're supposedly revealing tomorrow. Either one is going to cost as much as a 3/4-ton pickup depending on trim level.
It would be cool to see if it uses the fresh design tour pack, though.
Personally, like most people I'm sure, I'm underwhelmed at the lineup of bikes currently. Seems like Harley is doing everything half-assed and double priced. I would love a CVO Road Glide Limited/Ultra, but I refuse to pay the money they're asking. More than likely it'll be a $45k bike with basic paint and a $5k add-on for their 'premium' paint making it just under $50k. And they'll be worth half of retail in 2 years. Even if I had enough disposable income to afford a new one, I wouldn't spend the money. The decisions that Harley is making lately has got me seriously looking at an Indian for my next bike, and I've had nothing but Harley's for the last 20 years. Most likely even if they do come out with the new CVO RG Ultra/Limited I'll just wait 2 years for the low mileage, never ridden used models at a 40% discount.

if the paint is epically awesome I'm sure they will sell every one they make regardless of price .. not by me though as I got a 'brand new 24.5' RG with the new engine replacement
Definitely an interesting tidbit. If it comes to fruition, I'd be curious how it comes together. I'm not currently in the market for a bike, but all of this drives future models... And, yes, a lot of folks have been complaining about a lack of CVO limited models...

Definitely interesting Brandon and appreciate your tenacious hunt for Easter eggs. I for one have been looking for them to release a new RGL. The biggest drawback though is it's a CVO that prices most of us mere mortals out of the game.
We can only hope that if they release a new CVO RGL soon, it will have the new TP c/w rear speakers/pods & all the lights, lowers, and everything else that has made a Limited a Limited. And then follow up with a regular (non CVO) version for the masses next year.
