Default Updated Skid Plate From Stanges Laserworx

I posted previously about clearance problems that I had with the Thrashin skid plate pressing against the coolant hose and electrical connector under the left side of the engine on my 2024 Street Glide. Although the Thrashin plate fit the early production 2024s, my bike was one of the midyear production 2024s with the lower hanging coolant hose and electrical connector. The 2025s that I looked at had the same lower hanging coolant hose and electrical connector. After the the Thrashin plate I tried one from Amazon that had the same clearance problem.
I really wanted to protect those parts under the engine and was fortunate to connect with Jeff Stanges at Stanges Laserworx in Bay City, MI.
Jeff has produced an updated skid plate that is a very high quality aluminum that is powder coated in glossy black that matches the radiator cover. I have one installed on my bike and I now have 5/16 inch clearance between the coolant hose and the skid plate which is exactly what I wanted to find. Even when the coolant hose gets hot and expands a little there still should be plenty of clearance. This plate installs with the same 3 bolts as the Thrashin skid plate. Very happy with the fitment of this very high quality skid plate. Jeff also provided excellent customer service.

Looks interesting. Do you have a picture from the middle of the bike pointing toward the area where the hose hangs down under the frame on the left side by the side stand?

Here is a picture from the left side showing the clearance between the skid plate and the coolant hose.
