Great job, that is exactly what I am doing next and I was looking at the same lights. I noticed they have a 3 wire hook up, is that for high and low beam?
No the yellow wire is for dimming and you will not use it. Also be aware these lights will not work with the fog light harness under the radiator. You will get 12v but not enough amperage to light the lights. They require 2.5 amps each. I hooked them to the heated gear plugs under the seat by making a harness with 5.5mmx2.5mm barrel connectors . They are on whenever the ignition is on. The mounting hardware is a 3 1/2” 5/16 -18 bolt and m8 spacers. ( a 1 1/2” and two 3/8” ) and a flat washer( between the space and plastic wind deflector bracket )per side. the hole on the light for the bolt will need to be drilled out from an m6 size to 5/16” to accept the bolt.

Thank you sir for the great info! They look great on your bike and will damn sure stand out in traffic.
Are those Denali DMs? I run mine off an EZCan which shows the maximum current draw is around 1.4A each when strobing (peak current condition) or about .9A when steady at max power.
Yes they are Denali dms I was told by the tech at Denali they draw 1.5 amps each and thats why they werent lighting up through the fog light harness. Guess they were mistaken but I still have no explanation as to why they didnt work when connected to the harley fog light harness under the radiator. The harness did switch on as I was getting 12v once I turned it on through the IFCU. If someone has an explanation and a way to light these lights via the fog light harness Im all ears.
Slingshot883 Thank you for your suggestion. I appreciate your input and I understand what you are saying and agree it is a valid workaround. At this point if I cant use the factory harness as intended Id rather avoid using it all together. The IFCU on these bikes is wonky enough as it is. Last December at my 1000 mile service as the dealer was updating the software it crashed and had to be replaced under warranty.
I dont want to give them any excuse to deny warranty claims in the future.
