It works for me via my helmet speakers and speakers since the latest IFCU update.
did you do the last update of this fall? Thats when I did mine so also are you saying it works on outside speakers as well as your helmet speakers to increase and reduce volume?
so my buddy and I both have 2024 RGs and both recently had the IFCU updates that included an amplifier mod as well, it seems..both of us noticed how much louder and better the OEM stereo performs now..I also noticed going back and forth through iTunes playlist songs don't have the glitches it did before..where it just wouldn't react or behave as it should at times..flawless since..BUT, we both are experiencing random AVC being disabled and the only way to get it reactivated consistently is to go to Settings > Sound> AVC and change the level, or to try stopping and restarting the bike which doesn't always work .. so better sound but IFCU still got some wonky behavior issues to work through apparently
So the lower the setting is off (not in use) and set to #4 is maximum (changes the volume more)?
yes..maybe I lowered it all the way down on the RHCM switch which disabled AVC..... I do know that once it is off just raising the volume alone does not reactive AVC .. I'll go mess around with it more today and see if I'm missing something .. the OM only mentions what AVC does, nothing I saw about how to activated / deactivated other than in the IFCU setting to make sure it has a positive value, 1-4
yeah that's what I saw, which explains the feature..but not what to do when the AVC is grayed out with a red slash thru it and how to reactivate it..which I found I can do manually by moving the IFCU volume slider then it is illuminated as on again on the display screen..just doesn't behave or operate like one would simply expect it to for some reason
Ive had the lastest skyline and IFCU update and AVC does not work on my SG. Anything to do with the skyline system doesnt work well seems like. Even if I do the new updates every other week. I did just get the stage III speaker and amp install and the sound is much better. No problem on the highway. Im glad that I did not spend the extra for the the saddlebag speakers. The sound is great with just the fairing speakers and less hassle with cleaning the inside of the saddlebags.
I have been reading a little bit of the threads here I have a 24 road glide and it has the Fosgate stage two Im an older guy a little hard at hearing and it does absolutely help I can hear going down the road very well. The ABC I have not activated, but I find myself lowering and raising raising and lowering the volume all the time I havent tried AVC.Is that supposed to lower the volume when you slow down and then as you speed up, itll raise the volume automatically that would be great if it did it, but People in hell want ice water theyre not gonna get it lol

read post #16 above from Jake, and in your Owners Manual ..AVC works as designed and great when activated .. the problem I have with it is it sometimes randomly gets deactivated and there are no instructions how to activate it .. usually it'll just reactivate after stopping and starting the engine which has been frustrating for me because I would prefer it just stays active permanently
