Ive liked this feature on past bikes - but on my stock audio system on my 2024 Street Glide, it doesnt work. I dont use a headset - just the fairing speakers. Software is up to date.
I have heard suggestions for pulling the main fuse to try to fix other things - which I assume is a way to do a hard reboot of the system? Is there no other way to reboot the system - using a couple of buttons or something? I didnt find any option in settings.
I may try that later this week because I also have issues where my CarPlay only works wired and not wireless using the Maedhawk bypass. Wonder if a good system reboot will fix these 2 issues.

A well known documented issue with the latest update, some including myself have reported this issue, only fix is through the dealer and HD Tech Support, HD is aware and it's an easy fix.

ah - I hadnt seen it mentioned as such on here or any of the FB groups Im in either. Just that it worked for some & not for others. Ill follow up with the dealer then. Thanks.
I'm an idiot. Apparently when I did my initial USB updates last week, I just did the biggest one (INSTANA_260004125D) - and when I checked for updates on the bike OTA - it said I was up to date. LIES! I loaded up the INSTANA_240003254D & AMP__NA_235010504P updates onto the USB drive today & plugged those in, they applied - and now AVC works as expected and the radio is 10 times louder to boot. Fun times.
Not much of an exaggeration. No, I didnt do a db measurement before and after, but I have zero need to upgrade either my speakers or the amp now. Can hear music playing very nicely up to top speeds now. Sounds great. As good or even better than previous SGs Ive had where I did do amp & speaker upgrades.
