Well the RG3 is gone and new SGU has a new garage.
Put about 80 miles on it today trying to learn the new system. Heated grips felt good but not sure which level its on. Lower fairings kept me warm and stock windshield did a decent job too.
Somehow got out of Sport mode to Rain mode and cant get back YET lol.
Love the new suspension, wow the SGU is a mile eater, I see how folks can go mile after mile.
I understand about the torque cam and the warranty. I will wait about 5 months before warranty runs out. Bike runs good by itself now.
Gonna be a long winter
Thanks,

Glad you are happy, congrats…if you have the SE cam installed by HD dealership within 60 days of new bike purchase it will be fully covered for the duration of the factory two year powertrain warranty, as well as for the duration of any length of ESP term you may decide to purchase .. worth considering, although by far the exception and isolated failure, my 24 RG 117 had a lifter failure that resulted in a new engine replacement 100% covered, or would have been up to $10,000 out of pocket to me if it wasn’t .. also, there is no Torque Cam offered by HD SE for these new CC 117's, so you'll want to review the dyno chart and description of their only Cam kit offering to see if the powerband even appeals to your riding style

@mjwebb Sorry for any confusion but Im going to go with a TTS or a Woods cam at my local speed shop that is known for great HD work.
Ill be waiting until the warranty is close to out.
Thanks for the congrats, great bike. Warranty is a good thing.

Good call. I just got a 25 Street Glide Ultra. I just felt them out to see how bad they wanted to get rid of it, and they REALLY worked with me. Came off an Indian Roadmaster and am really impressed by the SGU! Enjoy the ride. For anyone on the fence, the deals on these bikes are there with a little patience and negotiating.
As far as mods go when I was looking at the dyno charts between the 1st gen and 2nd gen M8s it seems like the current models benefit from just a stage one so much that if it were me I'd probably stay at stage one from what I've seen on those charts. I think the revised heads and cam of the 2nd get 117s make the jump to stage two less that what it was for the 1st gen bikes. It seems like stage two on the 114s is about like stage one on the 2nd gen 117s.
