from my boots on the ground view of our local dealerships, excess inventory is the norm..hell one even has quite a few brand new 23.5 CVOs heavily discounted..with the 25s having a significant price jump this just may be a great time to wheel and deal on current MY discounts that also come with an extra 6 months of Factory warranty and reasonable finance rates. However, I'd still wait to see the 25s as it's only a few weeks away and the older one will still be discounted.
That's what I'm hoping for. How "heavy" are the 23.5 CVO's being discounted?
can't remember the quote they mentioned and they don't put price tags on at the one dealership I talked to...but they were clearly motivated to unload..a couple used Platinum CVO RG & SG with very low miles on them
You never know what to believe out of a dealer, but mine told me that they would not have near as many allocations this year, so he was not worried about the 2024's he still had.
My local dealers are also sitting on plenty of '24 stock. Seems to be the norm and I can imagine they will be motivated to sell and some promotions/discounts will be coming down the pipeline from the mothership to move them as the '25s are already shipping out. I wonder what the production numbers are on the '25 models and if they've scaled back due to all the leftover.
Lot of 2024 SG's left. Used market is flooded with them. There are left over RG's but not as many. As number of dealers drop more and more bikes piling up in fewer dealers.
Right time right place you can make a deal on a 2024. But wait until after Jan 23rd.
Make a no trade deal it will go even better for you.

There are two Maryland HD dealers north of Baltimore. I was in the one closest to 695 that usually has prep/assy fees. They had a sign on a number of leftover 2024's that said no such fees on them. Normally, their Royal Enfield's are in another building, but, today, there were a number in the HD showroom. (Not sure if they were used or new.)
(The other dealer, near Conowingo Dam, doesn't play such games.)
I was in there only to renew my HOG chapter membership.
