Zumo Bluetooth not Compatible w/HD Mic?
Yes, I plug the into tank dash console where the Harley headset plugs in.
The interface works with the stock Harley headset for making phone calls.
Crystal clear phone calls at 70+mph

I ran the power, audio out and mike in wires inside the handlebars.
I did the "AUX jack in the back of the HD radio" mod.
I installed two Radio Shack 1/8" couplers under the Powerlet Powerbar.
This allows for a quick disconnect of the Zumo and Zumo bike mount.
(This way the I can also remove the Zumo bike mount for safe keeping)
I ran the mike in wire inside the bars and under the tank dash to the interface.
The two wire connections on the bottom left go into the handlebars.
The two patch cable wire connections on the right connect to the Zumo.
I used the Powerlet Powerbar and 2 1/2" Techmount Powerbar stem w/quick disconnect.
It works with both the bikes radio speakers and/or the console headset.
What is amusing is turning on the bikes speakers and playing the phone call so all can hear.
Yes, MP3, GPS directions, bluetooth and CB all work with the HD console headset or bikes speakers.
Crystal clear calls at 70+MPH.
I can add a link to a WAV file I made of the Headset/Zumo/bluetooth/interface sound quality if you would like.
I changed out the prior interface that I was using and just installed the HD BLUETOOTH BOMM from
http://home.comcast.net/~jbissonette1/site/
It arrived within two days of ordering.
It took less than 10-15 minutes to install
The install:Two wires and a plug.
It works GREAT!
It's so clear folks that I speak to on the phone don't even know I'm on the bike.
I use it with:
Zumo 550 and HD stock center console w/stock HD headset.
