Thanks guys, i figured it would come down to the Platinum or the Shotgun. Just placed the order today for the Platinum system through Dr. Vtwin. One thing I can say is that i hope they never go out of business or im screwed. Not sure how they get things marked down so much, but i like it. Thanks again for all the help and special thanks to the guys at Dr. Vtwin.

Default Just a really good ride

OK OK everyone seems to love one or both systems for ride. I like my bike slammed, and not hard riding, but I have to raise it up by having the shock cranked up or down at the shop. It's like $30 each way. Can I buy an air shock that lets me get a great ride while slammed and still bring it up and ride double?

Should I have bought a bagger?

The Platinum and Shotgun will give you the best ride while lowered, although you must realize that the lower the bike goes, the less travel you have which means the less suspension you have. They both let you adjust the rebound and height via the second switch once the system is full so you can ride it almost as low as it will go and still have some suspension.

Rowdy, thanks for your business. We plan on being around for a long time to come.

I have an '07 Fatboy and I'm new to this whole air suspension thing. I'm coming off an Electra Glide and while I like the Fatboy much more, I do miss the smoother ride so I'm considering air suspension.

I'm not interested in changing the ride height; I just want to smooth out the ride. It seems like the Platinum and Shotgun are the leaders. Based on what I'm looking for, is there one system I should lean towards over the other?

Thanks.

Both systems have been designed by the same gentleman. They work pretty much the same. The main difference is the Platinum is 2 shock bodies and the shotgun is a one piece unit.
