I have a non CA bike and trying to figure out where on my bike do I mount this bracket to hold the compressor? Also, I need to know how the stainless steel splash guard is mounted as I can't seem to find anywhere to bolt it to. Damn instructions suck big time.

The splash guard bolted right up on the bottom to the speed nuts for the stock splash guard. On top they provide brackets and bolts to mount it, but I used zip ties instead as the brakets were a serious PITAS to get on. I have had no issues using the zip ties on top.
My bike is dead at the shop and I am at home of I would post some pics for you. Sorry.
Now that was the P/N for 2006 Night Train, but they should be able to come up with a P/N for pretty much any year. I just told the parts guy that I was mounting the California emissions canister bracket and he came up with the P/N!
I haven't gotten as far as mounting the splash guard yet.. I'm waiting on the slow boat from China to bring my 2 bolts. Then I've taken off the speed nuts b/c I have the H.B. EZ200 fender kit!
I'm still trying to envision the way that the pump fits in under there? Does the pump head go towards the primary or exhaust side of the bike?
Drew, you had mentioned about cutting something to make that pump fit in, do you have a little better detail?
I have a 2006 Night Train that I'm trying to install the Platinum bleed feed air ride system onto. I've run into a couple of snags as my bike is not California emissions and does not have the bracket on the back. After a call to my local H-D dealership they told me that I need 3/8-18 X 3" bolts to mount the bracket. I'm glad I checked before leaving the hardware store, but the bracket only fits 5/16-18 bolts. Here is the deal, the holes in the rear of the transmission housing are not tapped and the 5/16 bolt slides right in, so I'm thinking that even if I tap the hole there is not enough to hold my pump. Anyone have any suggestions.
No I'm not welding more metal into the holes so I can tap them to any size!!!!
Buy a stainless steel rear wheel splash guard they are made to extend fender, mount air compressor to it, very easy and very clean, Www.dumbassbiker.com sells them for about $45 or so. Air Fx makes a cool xhaust mounting bracket for compressors that works well also
Thanks in advance,
Will

You use Zip ties? as they say any job worth doing is worth doing right, don't cobble things together, they will haunt you later, take the time and do it right the first time, zip ties brake aftger time, last I checked Harleys still vibrate. I would thing a guy named Dr V-twin would do it right, Maybe duct tape would be better.

Well when I have an issue I will let you know. I use metal zip ties and all is well.
Take a look at your bike and you'll find a few plastic zip ties from the factory. They have their place and uses, and it's not like a splash guard is a weight bearing piece. I think all the zip ties I have are rated for at least 50#, but you can get them in different ratings.
