I've done a search, but couldn't find the answer I needed...if it's out there, let me know.
I'm considering air suspension for my '06 'train. The OL & I tour enough to but a serious load on the bike, and we've scraped a tire more than once.
DON'T suggest I go touring....I love my 'train and can't affort two scoots (yet!), so we're willing to dump some change into making this one work.
Here's my question: how do these handle two-up & loaded?
Second question: if Shotguns are one-piece, what about blocking the tranny drain plug? Do you really have to strip the rear suspension to change tranny fluid?
First off the shock will handle 2 up with a full load perfectly. Secondly, The shock has been designed so that you remove the front two mounting bolts and it pivots out of the way of the transmission drain plug. Third, I sell them at a discounted price. Any more questions?
So it really only adds one small step to the maintenance routine? Will my regular Craftsman bike lift work for that, or will I need more space?
Thanks, BTW. I wondered if you'd be the first responder. I'm doing my homework right now. It'll be a couple of months before I buy anything. I don't spend that kinda dough without knowing a whole lot more about the product than I do now!
Which lift do you have? Post a link to it please. I have a HF hi position lift which makes it really easy to change the oil. Have you read the isntall/review thread? https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...ll-thread.html
just read the threads on it. Im sure youll be convinced its the "best on the market" after the first few pages. Drew will vouch like no other on this forum.
