look at custom cycle controls "sas" system compressor built right into the shock block 3 wires, no tubing, no external compressor, very well built, can adjust rebound. I personally think its better that the shotgun, but that is my opinion. definitely a cleaner installation

Got independant damping and height on that SAS?

Glad you're happy with it, as that is what you bought. No comparison though on the two systems... I was originally going to go with the SAS until JD came out with the Shotgun system.

How's the belt tension when you're all the way slammed?

I see there are no fans of Legend Air. I'm glad I came across this thread. I was actually leaning towards them.

I just got my bike off the jack with a Shotgun and I love it! Slammed, the frame, just below the swingarm pivot point is about 3 3/4" off the floor.

I really don't see it being an issue with the compressor separate from the shock. In fact, I'd prefer that so one day if the compressor does happen to fail, I can fix it myself. There's only 1 hose, from the compressor to the shock, which is only 3 or 4 inches in length. As far as wiring, there isn't any more wiring required than is with SAS and it comes with the switches and everything needed for installation. The Shotgun is plug and play and is so easy to install even a caveman could do it.

Oh and let me add - Customer Service with Shotgun is like no other. You call, you speak the directly to the man who designed and built the thing. Not someone looking at online catalog. JD is an awesome guy who will answer any and all questions, if you have doubts, give him a call.
