I received my shotgun shocks the other day, mentioned to J.D. that I was a Forum member. In fact, it is this forum that convinced me to go with the Shotgun system. I already had a Legends package enroute when I changed my mind. Very glad I did. I made my decision based on several things. One, I always try to support products through the Forum and if they are made in the U.S. they almost always get my support. Plus, I look for feedback from users and the level of support received after sale.
The "indy" that put the system in for me dicked it up. I almost always do all the work on my bike, but I have trusted this guy in the past, and I was in a bind. Anyway, it was a VERY difficult problem. J.D. answered his phone on a holiday weekend on Sunday in the middle of dinner. He spent several days answering calls and emails, and basically helped me fix what the mechanic screwed up. When I told him the problem and that it was our fault, he nontheless said, "I'll send you another wiring harness to fix it." Wow.
I did patch the harness together here, and did take the bike for a ride. It is like night and day on my old 94 Softail. Fully loaded with wife and gear and we were amazed at how well the bike handled the road.
