This write up really helped me understand my SS as I was lost after installing them.
I ran into an issue with the relay and had to go pick up a new relay from bosh. As the relay on my SS would work once and then stop working so now my SS are working fine.
The only thing I noticed is that it takes time to raise the bike, but once raises all is good.
I love the new ride feel and adjustability that it has given me. I'm still learning new things and figuring out that sweet spot.
Good, good post Jam!!!!. Thank you for your time, retired or not.....
Maybe you can help me: my SS are "blocked" in the hard position and I dont know why. They works for upping and downing but it's hard everytime. What am I doing wrong?, if you know it.....
Thanks again an beers for everyone (one more for you, Jam).

Have you tried letting a little air out of one or both chambers?
Hey Jam, thks for your reply and sorry for not answering before but I'm out of home and cannot try it now. Tomorrow I'll try it and hope to fix it. Let you know.
Hey Jam,
I have tried every position (of the shocks): rear swicht down, up, front swicht down and up....no changes. I could NOT understand how is it posible that it Works everything unless the rebound. So, the swingarm raise and go back down but the shocks are never softly.
I talk with Jessica from SS support and sent me a new swichtes. Hope this is the solution although I'll going on without understand.
Anybody has had this problem anytime?. My back will thank you so much.
bwoltz.....Isn't the damping controlled by the amount of air pressure used?
Nope.. Only spring rate.. Nice things about air spring is that the springs are progressive but still no damping.. Progressive springs are better when there isn't any damping to speak of tho.
