If the extra $70 is a deal breaker only replace the front speakers for now, and replace the rears when you can.
If your life is anything like mine, the passenger is the one who'd be mad at spending the extra $$$, but she may insist after suffering with the stock rears.

After doing some more research, it looks like there is a good chance I would lose my FM signal if I mounted the Sound Stream amp in the fairing. I do want to keep the amp in the fairing so I am not sure if that amp would be the best.
What are your thoughts on the RF PBR300x4 amp with the Kappa speakers?

Can't use that amp with those speakers. Check out Alpine MRV-F300

I just saw that it was a 4 ohm amp :'(
I'll have to check out that amp. Any idea if the Alpine amp would interfere with the FM reception? Thanks.
Would it be worth it/that noticeable if I used the PBR 300x2 for the front speakers and replaced the rear speakers with Kappa's while letting the stock head unit power the rear speakers?
After a lot of hemming and hawing and going back and forth, I think I will go with the sound stream amp. If I run into any FM issues I will return the amp and opt for the PBR300x2. I would probably add a second PBR down the road then at some point.
A couple of questions about the SS stream though. Would I need to relocate my CB module with the SS as it looks like I would have to do with the PBR or could I just make a little filler piece to give the SS amp an even surface to mount to?
