Well I just switched from the Boom 5x7 saddlebag speakers to the BT 6x9's and all I can say is "Wow". Never believed they could be this loud and clear rolling down the road behind me! Thanks for everyone's advice and help and for a great deal from Drew (Hogpro)on the price.
It is a little hard to close the lids but it's worth it for the sound improvement. Now I'm debating adding another BT 4180 to power some lower fairing BT speakers and changing the tour pack Boom speakers for some BT as well? One month at a time, but this audio section is a big help.
Thanks for your business Jeff. I tell people all the time about BT stuff and most tell me what they have is better and costs less. When I believe in a product and use it myself I will tend to lkeet that be known as it is one thing to have a sales guy tell "this is the best" but not even ride a bike, it is another when they use it.
Glad to hear these have met or exceeded your expectations and if anyone else needs BT stuff please let em know. Enjoy. The lifetime warranty is nice as well. No muss, no fuss.
Nor sure what you have for a head unit but change out the stock and it will sound even better.
Thanks again Drew. I use a Sony head unit and BT 4180 amp with the BT 7.1 fairing speakers. I had a J&M 250 amp powering the booms and compared to stock it really rocked. This BT system is a whole other league!
Good for you . I went down the same path you did but have to say BT stuff is really nice.I just wish it didn't take me 3600 to get here. I learned a lesson get advice first I'll never forget that.
