question about Biketronics value line BT71S
'09 SG- I'm planning on running the PA RZ4-2000 from a Sony HU. the amp will then run to (2 total) Pioneer TS-D6902R (80rms/360max) 6x9s in lids and to my (2 total) fairing speakers.
Do you guys think the value kit with BT1005x Retroradio and 7.1 value speakers (75rms/150 peak) would work well to complete the above combo? I'm finding it difficult to pass up at $290.
thx for any opinions/input

b. you care about true plug and play and are you not willing to give up AVC -or- are you willing to cut 1 wire for your handlebar controls and lose AVC? if the latter, alternative for the BT100x is Axxess / Metra combo (total 75-80 bucks; see "my" sticky in the audio section). I had BT100x and changed it out for the Axxess/Metra combo (for other reasons) and now I got a cool "mute" option on my bike... I like it way better than AVC (which I never used!!!).
I cannot speak for the BT speakers, but there are several GREAT alternatives out there...
Others will chime in today - pretty sure
Will it work, sure. You'll need to make sure your front gains are adjusted so as not to overpower the speaker.
IMO you're going about this bass-ackwards. You should spend as much as you can afford to on front speakers because that's where most of your sound is going to emanate from. Your rear speakers should take a backseat to your fronts.
