I made the move from a pn4.520d to a bt4180 and im amazed. I can't hardly believe how much better it sounds. I never knew how good the bt speakers were until now, it truly sounds like a completely different system altogether. The clarity of this amp at high volumes is amazing.
It sounds a lot fuller, the clarity is great. To think I'm almost sending them twice the pwoer and yet I can turn the volume up an extra 6 notches on my Kenwood without distortion. The sound quality difference over the soundstream is night and day. Not to mention the overall volume, impressive. Not cheap amp but still impressive.
It should be illegal for any system to be this good.
When I got it installed, I was at a red light blasting something, some teenagers drove up and said it was "stupid loud." Not sure what that actually means but there's a grin on my face everytime I turn on my system.
By the way, there's a secret handshake for all BT owners. It's the sign of money leaving your wallet. lol
