Can you give us a starting point? What are you currently looking at and what are you thinking about doing in the front? What do you "think" your end goal is? I only ask that because at one time or another everyone has said they were only going to do A and B then get bit by the bug and the quest for more/better sound never ends. There are several amp and speaker combinations that several guys have run with really good results but it helps if we know what you're looking for.
Looking to buy a new Street Glide. Want to add rear speakers so can you boys help.
if you're simply wanting to add rear speakers, that's no biggie. Just install your speakers and do a search in the 2014 audio thread where I posted the wire color and pin locations of the rear speaker outputs. You'll likely need to have your head unit flashed by the dealer to allow the fader to work.
If you're wanting to add an amp, that's really no biggie either.
Boom - Upgrade - Quality: Don't belong in the same sentence.
If no amp is involved:
Infinity Kappa 62.11i as a replacement for the stock speakers with no amp
I would also stick with a good 2 ohm speakers for the rear, so something like the Infinity 693.11i back there
If amp is involved:
BT 7.1" in the fairing
I would still be happy with the 693.11i in the lids.
Are 6x9 speaker lids (aside from HD 5x7) even available for the 14 and up bikes yet?
