Running 4 I5-MCS69 in the bags bridged on a SS 4.520 & they hump it out. Of course you lose all bass at speed, but in town riding they shine. Even at speed the mids & highs out the rear rock. Been extremely pleased. Had alpine R series back there wired the same & want overly thrilled with them so jumped on a set of the Memphis from a local shop's sale here in town & was like night & day. By the way, they are all mounted facing the rear tire & made tops & carpeted them and put those on top of the speakers. Amps are mounted to the bottom sides of those. That made a world of difference in sound, along with giving me some room on top of the speaks to toss crap in without having to worry about anything getting to the speakers or amps. So far the extended Bad Dad bags have held the weight just fine with over 1000 miles since installing everything

Thanks Man! Good write up! Always interested in hearing about speakers I haven't tested yet. Always hear good things about Memphis audio but never tried any of their products. Sounds like a winner for sure!

I snatched these up for $149 a pair which was a great deal at a sale. I listened to some lower cost Memphis & these were well worth the cheddar! Always been a Pioneer fan for 6x9's until I heard these. I do believe that I need a little more power to them running the SS amp at its max, but I'll wait until it goes dead then step up a little more. I just dig the size of the SS, nice & small & a good bang for the buck

when you say made tops? Do you mean speaker caps/baffles or you added a top layer across the speakers?

Got a pic.

Took 3/8 MFD board & cut out the shape of the bag (major PITA due to the bad dad bags drop at a taper) and wrapped them in black carpet to match inside of bags and stuck them in. Mounted the amp on the underside of the board and left enough wire to easily pull them out if need be. Gave me a nice storage compartment on top enough to fit a jacket rolled up (tightly) and anything else to toss in if need be in the other
