I'm glad that helped answer some of the questions you had. I really do believe once you get the Kappas and the amp installed not only will you be happy with what you have but amazed at the difference. You will need adapter rings. Those can be found here.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SPEAKER-ADAP...8ad518&vxp=mtr

And some polyfil to wrap the speakers which can be found in the sewing/arts & crafts section at Wally World. If you search Polyfil you'll see all you need to know about it. There are a couple other things to make sure of when hooking everything up but we'll cover those at install time. No worries, they are just small things where you can benefit from the things others didn't catch the first time around, lol.

Little Mike and Gannicus thanks for all the advice.

I will make the purchase in a few days and start a new thread when it all comes in and I am ready to start the install for your advice.

First bike with a radio, and I have never bought or done anything like this so the tips on the install will be very much appreciated.

No problem. It's really not as hard as some make it out to be. The wiring is all pretty straight forward and the rest is easily completed.

If I understand this correctly, you can run 4 Infinity 2 Om speakers on four different channels at 2 ohm each with the Cerwin vega amp you spoke of?

That's correct! This is also true with any amp that is 2 or 4 ohm compatible.
