I read a lot on this forum about the Kappa 62.11i's being a great choice for baggers. These are classified as car audio speakers which makes me question using them since they are not marine grade and waterproof.
Has anyone had problems with them not being waterproof?
Couple things about speakers. First, only a few of the ones out there are actually waterproof and while it doesn't matter to everyone you will pay a premium price for those. Marine grade only means they will do a better job of resisting corrosion. The cones on the Kappas are made of injected carbon glass fiber and hold up very well against the elements. As long as you make sure the fitment between your inner and outer fairing is tight to limit and water intrusion to the rear of the speaker you should be good to go with the Kappas.
Lots of feedback on them throughout the threads. Don't recall hearing anyone have anything but good results. I'm running a set in my 2011 RGC with a Rockford Fosgate PBR300X2 and really do like them. At 3/4 volume still crystal clear but loud to the point it gets uncomfortable to listen to for a long period of time. Another thing, if you look into them further, is that they are underrated and will easily handle more watts then what the specs say. They say 75w RMS but they will handle up to twice that. They are also a 2ohm speaker so you could just run them off the head unit and you'd hear an improvement over the stock speakers but they need an amp to really come alive.

Never hurts to ask, but you can bet that if your reading about them here on the forum from the members that say they will work then your probably safe.
Now if it was a vendor trying to get you to buy them I would understand your concern.
There are a ton of speakers and different brands, normally only the ones that are tried and true are listed.

True that, I am using the 62.11i in the fairing, and the 52.11i in the rear pods.
You will like these speakers, if money is no object then get the biketronics 7.1
