I don’t think you’ll find many folks fond of the Boom line here. This amp 76000277A seems to be a 2 channel amp listed at 449.00 Lots of better options out there for you.

Thanx for your input, however, is does not answer my questions.
Is amplifier kit 76000278 required when installing BOOM II fairing speakers to a 2014 LIMITED-NON-CVO? Or can you use amplifier 76000277A?
I'm 95% sure you need the kit for the fairing speakers as it includes the mounting plate and harness for installation. The 277A amp is the same amp without the harness. You need one of those along with either the saddlebag or tourpack mounting kit. If you have an Ultra Limited, you need the tourpack kit.
No,I am installing the entire BOOM II system. However, the HD site for the parts is confusing. Therefore, the question; do you need P/N 76000278?
All the guys are trying to do is help you make a more informed decision Sir. If you care about the best value for your money from a quality standpoint the Boom II system is not going to be "the best bang for the buck" for lack of a better term. It's all about educating yourself to all of your options so you can make an intelligent informed decision before you spend your hard earned money on something you are not going to be satisfied with. All these guys have been where you are going including myself. Just food for thought Sir. Ultimately your money. Your decision.

Thank you, I have warranty concerns, that is why I am looking at the Boom II.
