please point me in the direction of the adaptor rings I need for the Infinity kappa 62.11i 6.75 in speaker. The ad said they fit 6.5 in hole but the woofer size won't fit an adaptor that's made for a 6.5 inch speaker like the Metra model 82-9600 that I already bought.

I just looked those Metra rings up and based on the pictures I see what you're saying. The speaker mounting holes look a bit off. To answer your question though you have two options. You could keep those, set the Kappas on it, mark the hole pattern, and carefully drill the appropriate holes. The screws will cut the threads when you mount the speakers. If you go this route just make sure you don't drill the holes too small or the ring will crack when running the screws in. Mike the screw holes aren't really a problem. The speaker woofer won't physically fit inside the adaptor ring. I can send a pic later tonight to show what I mean.
