Anyone heard of this amp. Power Acoustik BAMF2600/4D. Looks to be a little stronger than the 4180. Right on the limit of size. Reasonable price
I can't speak to this particular amp, but I have a Razor 2000D4 and while I'm happy with it, there's no way it's putting out 2000 watts. It's plenty of amp for a lot less money. That said, I've never seen a 4180 so I could be wrong
What he said. Runs my 4 Kappas very well, and will fit in a RGU fairing. You will lose some if not all FM. The stronger stations come in on my radio, but not well. Thank goodness for Pandora...
I'm running the Kappa's all the way around on my Limited and I'm using the JL XD400/4. Yes it fits in the fairing.
What did you do for rear speaker grills did you use the ones that come with the kappa's?
Pandora have no such luck on having that here in Canada so it's either a good Detroit fm station or a usb stick. So I'd rather not loose too much of the fm stations.
Kappa's here in Canada are 215 bucks for the pair and the fosgates are 400 bucks a piece here going to look into the Jl audio over here if one of the 2 stereo shops even sell them if not it will be Amazon or eBay I guess.
I found the fosgate 2 channels for 99 bucks with free shipping so I think that might be a good idea till the day I break down and buy the lids for the bags. Worse case I end up using one in my pickup for a sub. If it wasn't for my speaker choice I'd run the pbr300x4 my friend has 2 in his bike I know it wails.
Too much choices I tell ya pending pricing I might just do the jl audio or sound stream

I had to use the CVO grills because the magnet on the Kappas sit up just a tad higher than the stock speakers.
Think I got it narrowed down. Going to order the speaker grills and pod adapters from vtwinaudio and one Rockford fosgate pbr300x2 and a soundstream PN4.520D while I have found them for 100 bucks on Amazon and eBay combined. At least even ordering the kappas off eBay the money I'm saving is buying the speaker grills and pods to still support some of the Canadian economy. I will post once Inhave it all in and maybe get some picks as well
Got the speakers all installed today. The ones in the faring were a bitch just because I was picky about how they went in, after a little bit of trial and error they are in there and I can be happy with them. Also go the ones mounted in the tour pack, I used the kappa grills and a 3/8 speaker spacer and it looks pretty darn good. Just waiting on the soundstream amp to install and that will end this project. Thanks to those that responded for the insight on this little project.
