Thoughts?
Sounds like you need to talk to a few more people here. . . LOL!! What Bike Sir? I hate to once again be "That Guy" but since no one else has jumped in I'll give you my thoughts first. Let me start by saying I've had the Hertz set up a few years back. IMO it was expensive and just OK. Way too expensive for the sound you get and trust me I didn't mind spending the money. secondly Tweets are overkill on a bike. Don't need em if you have good speakers. I know guys love em but they are unnecessary on a bike. Just another PITA to deal with on install.
That said you would be money ahead and much happier if you got a set of Biketronics PRO 7.1's and the Titan II 6x9's in the Lids with the Biketronics BT4180 amp. It will blow that hertz system away. Trust me been there done that. The Biketronics system just flat out sounds better all the way around. Those are my thoughts!
Ive never heard the biketronics stuff only the focal and hertz and infinity stuff. This install is going on an 08 SG.
Biketronics has partnered with Hybrid Audio Technologies (HAT) to produce some of the best sounding speakers available for your 08 street glide. The speakers are waterproof and carry a lifetime warranty. The same company sold the hertz speakers a few years ago and transitioned from the Hertz to the HAT's.
