Man, hopefully it's just a bad amp. It happens....I'd try another amp if he's willing to send you one.
If not you still have some good amp options out there that are all better than stock!
Well, he will send me the amp for sure, but I asked him if he wants to send me an Amp, Kenwood HU, and retro kit install. If the amp does not work I will try the HU. He said on one bike they replaced the voltage regulator and that fixed it.. So we'll see what he ends up sending... I would really like to stay with the BT amp...
Bill is sending me a new amp, HU(top kenwood they sell), retro install kit all free of charge for me to do some swapping and see if I can't resolve my issue.

That dude is my hero.
See if he'll also send you some "Pro's" a set of titan's and some 6X9's with lids!! You'll want to keep them all.

:-)... LOL, ya that is exactly why I didn't ask him to send all that... Once we get the initial issue fixed, we'll see what happens, but I have a funny idea in about a week I will have a new HU in my bike and sending some cash Bill's way. As soon as this is resolved, I plan to order the lowers... I just want to be sure I can fix the issue with the BT equipment. I don't want to order anymore equipment until I know what amp I end up with.

I'll bet you once you get the HU installed, whether the FM issue is resolved or not, you wanna keep it. So much difference in sound quality if you take the time to learn how to setup the HU. Heard a BT system just the other day that had 7.1s, 6.5s and 6x9s and another brand of 6.5s in the rear running off of the 4180 and a Kenwood HU that sounded like a turd and it was all because the HU wasn't setup correctly. He is also a member here and no offense intended but I know that system isn't supposed to distort like that.

2010 Limited with some stuff
That's not a bet I'm willing to make, because I know I will lose it :-)... If you or anyone else has tips on the setup of the Kenwood HU, I'll take them. For now I have the front BT 7.1 with Kickers in the rear pods...

What HU did you get. I have a Kenwood 998 and it sounds like a wet dream!
Well I am anxious to get the aftermarket HU in my bike to see if this resolves my FM signal issues. We went to our land north of us this weekend in the Tahoe (which i also put a kenwood amp\speakers in same time I put them in my bike). I could not get in any of the radio stations there that I have listened to for years. I have NO clue what is going on. The little amp I put in my Tahoe sits right up above the radio just like in my bike.
Because of the position of the amp in both of my vehicles, I am beginning to think it has something to do with that. The amp sitting on or just above the HU.
