The thing for me is if I just test my stations at my house, I get them all also. Or riding around town. I found the issue when I went for a ride north to a gun range I always go to. I lost reception about 1/2 way there. (Not Normal)... I could always listen to it all the way there. Take the amp out of the system and sure enough, I can listen to the station all the way again.
Damit Man! You need XM radio! LOL . . I imagine they are all going to take a hit out in the freakin country. I go to the gun range in the city. . . LMAO!!

XM would be a solution...! gun range in the city :-)... you aren't taking your anger out on poor folks crossing the street are you... LOL
Just chatted with John, he said if I buy an amp from him and experience any loss of FM or am unsatisfied with it in any way within 7 days of getting it, I can return it to him.
Maybe I should just get that aftermarket HU from BT along with XM and the lowers and call it good....
Or Maybe just join the gun range in the city... LOL...

Hell I have not been for a while. I was an expert in the Marines. Now I can't see the dam target. So I bought a M4 Benelli for the house just in case they take my doberman out. . . lol. Okay back on topic. As HAZE said 75 watts @ 4 ohms. Not really a good match for BT speakers. Great amp for 2 ohm speakers. I'd keep the 4180 if the only issue you have with it is FM out in the freakin country. My high tech Garmin GPS even gets crazy out there! lol
The thing with that 500w amp, it's 125w x 4 at 2ohm, and only 75w at 4ohm.
Not really all that much compared to roughly 160w from the 4180.
Bill did PM me back today. He said he needs a day to get back to me. Has some things he's dealing with. Just going to hang out and wait to talk to him. Thx for the heads up on this.

Not to hijack my own thread, but thanks for your service! I have a Glock 9mm and a Taurus 44... Love shooting them, oh and a German Shepard, that keeps people out.. :-)
Ya, agree with the "not a good amp for my speakers". I think Bill will come up with something...
Well, I have yet to hear back from Bill. Not sure what's up... Do you guys know what the diameter of the wires are coming out of the BT4180? I want to try the ferrite beads, but I need to know the wire diameters so I can purchase the right beards.

Power and ground are 12 ga. Speaker wires are 18-22 ga. Might ask Bill to confirm when you talk to him.
So Bill finally did get back in touch with me. He said he could send me a new amp, but other then that he is not sure what to try. He said they class D amp is designed NOT to interfere with FM signal, but said 1-3 people a year will experience the exact same issue I am having and they are not sure why. So I'm not sure if I should try a new amp. He said he will return all the stuff if that is what I wish. I would then look for a non class D setup...
