Soundstream screwed the pooch I think
Excited to receive my new PN4.520D amp today.
Opened that bad boy up and got the sad face.
Apparently they changed out the speaker output side.
Now it won't fit in the batwing.
1st pic is what it should look like, the 2nd and 3rd pics is what I received.

It fits.
If you are using an aftermarket HU you need to raise the amp some. I just used some sheetmetal folded over and bolted to the radio mounting bolts, then velcro'd and zip tied the amp to it.

I ended up making it fit between the inner fairing supports with zip ties. I have an aftermarket HU, so that made it a bit easier.

SS has two different versions of this amp. I had the same thing happen to me, but it works just the same, and will fit.

Yeah they did the same thing with the power acoustik. The old style was more user friendly but as everyone here has stated. It does fit. Another thing that I noticed when they changed over to the newer version is one 40 amp fuse. Where the older version had two 30 amp fuses. Strange.
