Default Help I have a big gap after speaker install.

Hi, Had my inner fairing painted so I thought good time to ad some speakers to my 14 sgs so I whent with infinity kappas on the advice of many others, So I install them and when I go to put the fairing on I have a good 1/2" gap between the lower mounts and the inner fairing around the radio portion. weird thing is it seems to b ok up on top around speakers, I've tried to remove and install ad every time its the same ****, Any Ideas ?

If I'm understanding your problem right....

You need to put the fairing on at a bit of an angle... "hook" the bottom into the chrome fork tin or whatever it's called, then kinda pivot it up and in from there.
Least I think that's how I did it.

Sounds like you're hitting on something under the fairing. Did you wrap your speakers with polyfill? That is where I had interference issues with too thick of a wrap. I have an '08 but have had similar issues with wiring, connectors, etc. when trying to close up the fairing, but I was able to install the Infinity Kappa 62.11i's without interference once everything was adjusted properly.
