Those Kappa's really sing all amp'd up! Got to take it back apart though, got a bad connection on my rears that I need to fix. But other than that. It's awesome!
Totally recommend my setup to anyone. I'll be adding some pictures later. Thanks everyone who helped!

Did you get the one with the XM ready or with out?
I bought the system in Sturgis. Had it installed at Dragonfly for $50.
My old system was acting weird. It is so nice to change the song on the hand controls, instead of on the phone. [danger]
I also need to look inot the setup. I have a Hawg Wired DX Amp and 6.5 ZX speakers. I WANT to use the RCA outputs, as the old HK unit used the speaker level inputs.
So I just gotta pull the fairing and verify some stuff.
The sun glare makes the display unreadable, but so does polarized glasses.
I have an iPhone 5. I know she dont fit with my Otterbox Commutter case on it. I could pull the case I suppose. Or just charge it the old fashioned way [cigarette lighter - 12 V].
Of course now I started looking at more speakers and amps. Hmmmm - I seem to ride in the rain a lot, so speaker lids aren't that exciting...
Great unit. I'd recommend it to those with a dead HK unit, or those who run tunes off their smart phone via AUX input.

I tried mine using the Bluetooth to the phone method and found that I like using a thumbdrive in the USB port inside the head unit better. You don't get the artwork but I never have to take that faceplate off to put my phone in or take my phone out.

That works too. I was riding a StreetGlide up until yesterday. Picked up a 2013 Ultra Limited and I just noticed there was a charging port in the trunk. That is going to come in handy. I may try using the option you use myself next time out

bluetoothong from an iphone = quick dead phone battery
Finished the install of the Aquatic AV (AQ-MP-5UBT-H) with some Infinity Kappa 6.5" speakers. Removed the Hogtunes Amp which blew up and will put in amp in after the riding season. While I had the outer fairing off I wrapped the speakers in poly fill and installed some led gauge lights. In addition, I sent my tach and speedo off to Marty for some led gauge lights.
The sound of the Kappa's and Aquatic HU over the stock speakers and Harmon Kardon HU is like night and day. I'm sure once I get the amp in there it will be even better. Thanks to all those that chimed in on advice on speakers, speaker mounts and head unit's.
guages look great. try a diamond micro 4v2 amp with those kappas if you want to maintain FM reception
if thats not a deal breaker, try a soundstream pn4 1000d amp. those kappas love big watts.
