Going through my latest issue of Bagger mag and came across a new company I have never heard of. AQUATIC AV Went to their web site and it sounds like a pretty good radio/amp and speakers. Anybody have any dealings with this company? THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

Several threads on the forum about this unit. No personal experience with the unit but it appears to be solid. I don't trust everybody's speakers so they might be a different story. Hard to find speakers that will perform well on a bike @ 70MPH.
I'm interested in this head unit as well. would like to hear any opinions of the people who actually have the unit. All I've seen so far is sales pitches. While they do look good, I'd like to see some real world applications.
Installed unit on my bike about a week ago. Very pleased with the performance so far.
Install was easy - has really good sound - and is loud enough to hear while cruising down the highway (definitely loader than stock, but won't win any super stereo competitions.)
Almost - plug & play. Two wires (power & ground) have to be tapped into headlight wires to power the USB charger & rear speaker wires have to be located and tapped into.
Hey RMC, does that one have a rear USB or are you using the internal USB? Also, with an I-phone 6 plus fit inside that front panel??
Thanks,

just picked this unit up today will install tonight, the pocket inside the unit def looks big enough for a iphone 6 plus, my LG G3 swims in it. inside that compartment is the usb hook up and the 3.5 auxillary hook up I will post some pics tonight of the unit with my phone in it for size comparisons

Got the U-H model installed. Not real impressed with the loudness of the speakers. Put in JL Audio 6.5's without an amp. Can't hear the unit on the highway without cranking it up....way up. Around town it's loud enough to hear. I have an amp, just need the time to install it now. Should make a big difference once the amp is in.
Also won't play the Ipod Nano G5 through the USB, think it's more an Ipod issue than the unit itself. I think the cord is for charging and synching only, not for music. I will be trying with a 3.5MM cord to see how it sounds.
Bluetooth works well. Have the ipad in the saddlebag and gets the music to the HU no problem. If you have an ipod or pad, the cover art shows up on the screen which makes it easier to know what's palying. Only thing that confuses me, when I shut the bike off, the radio goes off AND the ipad seems to shut down. When I start back up, music starts playing where I left off. Not sure how it does this, but I like it.
Screen is hard to see in the sun...just a warning.
Overall, pretty happy. Once the amp is installed, think I'll be real happy.
I bought the system in Sturgis. Had it installed at Dragonfly for $50.
My old system was acting weird. It is so nice to change the song on the hand controls, instead of on the phone. [danger]
I also need to look inot the setup. I have a Hawg Wired DX Amp and 6.5 ZX speakers. I WANT to use the RCA outputs, as the old HK unit used the speaker level inputs.
So I just gotta pull the fairing and verify some stuff.
The sun glare makes the display unreadable, but so does polarized glasses.
I have an iPhone 5. I know she dont fit with my Otterbox Commutter case on it. I could pull the case I suppose. Or just charge it the old fashioned way [cigarette lighter - 12 V].
Of course now I started looking at more speakers and amps. Hmmmm - I seem to ride in the rain a lot, so speaker lids aren't that exciting...
Great unit. I'd recommend it to those with a dead HK unit, or those who run tunes off their smart phone via AUX input.
