I heard on another post 3" of depth. It will take some sort of spacer to get more room. I spoke with biketronics and they said.
Our Titan II BT479 6x9's require 3 3/8" for a "top" mount application. Our Titan II BT7P1's, 7.1 inch speaker, only require 3" of mounting depth. You may want to order the fairing for round speakers. Let me know if you need a cut-out measurement.

i ordered the 6x9's the fairing is 3 1/2 " deep @ smallest part hope they work out will c tuesday.............
I did a Dragonfly fairing some yrs back with 6x9's on another bike I had. I installed a Sony CDX M50IP marine headunit, Kenwood 6x9 KFC-6972ie 4 way speakers & Arc Audio KS125.2 mini amp. It sounded really good with those 6x9's up front. As far as wiring and detachable goes I bought a ready made plug/harness from Dead Center Fairings and it wasn't very expensive. For Arc amp power to battery I bought a trolling motor 10 gauge M/F quick connect plug by Minnkota.
