Ground is good. Radio shuts down at higher rpm. 3,500 rpm or so. Maybe battery draw issue?
The RPM's should not have anything to do with the radio shutting down. I think the issue here is time. How long does the radio play before it shuts down while the bike is moving?
It will play for as long as I have the bike on or running and only seems to quit when riding and I really get on it. Last night to test the theory, I was in the garage and reved the bike and sure enough it shut off every time.
Maybe the rev cause a vibration that is causing the issue?
Vibration of the bike makes perfect sense. But that only means loose connections somewhere. Not necessarily a HU issue. You are going to have to double check all of your connections to the radio. Ground, speaker and amp.
Found the issue. The Accessory hot wire was losing volts when the bike was revved. Wired the yellow to both the yellow and red and all is well. I just have to remember to turn off the HU. No idea what the issue is with the red wire and at this point I really don't care, another day lol.
