Speaker not working
Ok....I have an 09 Ultra with the stock HK radio. The left front speaker has stopped working. Doesn't work with radio, CD, Ipod. I have pulled the front fairing off.....checked connection at speaker, checked other connections (as much as you can) jiggled wires, I even got a different speaker and connected it........no sound. So, its not the speaker. All other speakers work: Anybody have same trouble?

Swap your speaker leads from a known working speaker to the non working one. If it works, your head unit is bad, assuming you aren't running an amp. If it doesn't the speaker is bad. If the head unit is bad, I'd swap in an aftermarket head unit which will require a hand control module. Bluetooth and a front facing usb port are very handy to have, and many new aftermarket head units come with a port for satellite radio like Sirrius.
