as most of u , i lost a few channel in radio the one i listen alot lol, i hook up power and ground straight to battery , used the kit from VMinnovation, the kit isnt bad i think the size are a litle over by their advertisement, insead of 4 gauge power wire , it looks like it is 6 , i got the plug from lowes for 6 gauge and it fit perfectly.
I used on of those boxes (housing box for garage door from work , it is kinda same as heating cooling boxes for the radio and cb. the amp fit nice on top of radio it take litle work but not that bad for doing it myself, hope this will help someone. was going to buy the new ss 1000 but i figure out hell it is 500w lol. it sound so good at every speed with only 2 speaker in front. the speaker are good not that much at low though as soon as u crack volume a litle around half and u here them good ...here is some pics for the box that i made and the amp on top of radio..
