Default PRV250. W/O yellow wire

Ok ..

So I have a PRV250 HU that I'm installing with DB521 polks (4) also in the mix is a PBR300X4.. I'm having a brain cloud on powering this set up, First question .. using the RCA's do I have to use the REM. 2nd question .. If I do can I share that same ACC connection with the radio? Its so weird they eliminated that yellow wire from the install because the only power wire going to the HU is the ACC red. I think that's where my confusion is coming in. Thanks in advance if some one is able to clear my thinking up on this ..

When they elimated the yellow there is nothing marked B+

  1. yes with RCAs on these PBR units you will need a rem wire to turn the amp off and on
  2. yes you can share that REM wire with the accessory circuit
  3. you sure you have the correct wiring harness for that head unit? Anything digital is going to require battery power to retain any presets and memory. All the wiring instructions I find for this unit show a yellow B+ wire in the 12 pin wiring harness.

I thought the same thing till I I read a little further first paragraph after the diagram says some of the HU don't have a yellow. It's very confusing

not sure what PO is but if it has no yellow wire then it will cause you issues in retaining clock and other setting memories. you might want to call or email infinity to find out exactly what was going through their silly minds on this one.

If going with a unit like this, I would certainly opt for the Rockford Fosgate version as it's a proven performer in the motorcycle world. http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/details/rf-dmc

Bagger Nation states it's only for RG fairings but if it will fit in a RG fairing, it will fit in a batwing fairing with slight modification to the faceplate.

Me personally wouldn't buy chit from Yaffee but that's just me...
