It doesn't go in at all it is hitting on the faceplate of the radio and won't go past it. I tried to get it to go thinking it was tight but it wouldn't go at all. Maybe have to call and see if they have a different one would that would fit.
Has anyone used the Biketronics splash cover with the Metro kit. I know that it says the cover will only fit the retro install kit but thought that for less than $20 I could try it. Got a cover and it looks like it would fit but the radio trim ring is too big. I have a Sony Mex-m70bt Head unit.
I have that same head unit.
I find the cover can be wedged in to protect the headunit from rain or dust but not when the bike is running.
It pops right out if the bike is running and falls off.
My metra kit and splash cover work fine.. Maybe the one for the chrome bezel is a bit deeper.. I have an extra one of u wanna pay to shop it to ya to see if It works before u spend more money.. If it does I'm sure BT will send u another one
