I bit the bullet and ordered up the BT 477 6.5's.

You'll love them! I've never heard BT and Kicker installed on the same bike running together but I'm sure it would have been fine.

I have heard and own the 7.1 fairing and BT 6.5 in the lowers, and they sound great. Like you mentioned in your first post "One and done", now you know your speaker is covered no matter what! Great investment if you plan to be riding Harley's and listening to music, IMHO.

I already have the 7.1's in the fairing and like them very much, I'm sure I'll like the 6.5's equally.
