7 Pin DIN to 3.5mm Connector and microphone
Question for the audio experts if this is possible:
I listen to radio through headphones speakers that I plug into an adapter connected to the driver's audio connector.
I have the WAZE app on my iPhone to keep my informed on traffic issues, etc. but don't want to have to plug my iPhone in the AUX port.
I'm thinking of using a 7 pin DIN to 3.5mm connector and plugging the iPhone into the passenger audio connector and then turn on VOX. My thought is when the WAZE app sends a message it will be sent through the headphone cable with is plugged into the adapter on the passenger audio and will active the VOX and send the audio over the intercom system.
Anyone know or think this may work?
