I started another thread seeking help for anyone that may have the pin-out for the iPod connection cable. It is located here:

I have the print from HD but the only wiring diagram they list is for the harness that connects between the Navi system, the HK unit, and the iPod interface unit.

Ok, the first thing I would do is remove the ipod specific cable that connects to the cable direct wired to the interface and test it. More than likely it is going to be that cable.

I've just seen your thread about the problem with ipod charging. Could you solve it?

I've the same problem. My ipod doesn't charge on my Boom Audio IPod Interface.
