It's not a secret that I'm not very computer savvy. I struggle with the basic things on a computer.
When I down load music from CDs to the computer then to a flash drive the song files are down loaded with levels all over the place. Meaning that one song will be rocking and the next will be at a very quite level. Is there a program that can adjust all the levels to the same rate.
Most "ripping" software has a "volume leveling" option. Do a search regarding the software that you're using. I make a separate folder for music I'm "compiling" ( taking songs form several different cd's and putting them together ) and then run a volume leveling. It's manipulating the files, making the highs lower and low higher, but it minimizes the problem.
