Would you suggest adding the same model amp or stepping up to the 1000 Soundstream

Running 6 to 8 2ohm speakers you will have to run 2 amps.
I would step up to the 1000 but you'll have to mount one of the two in your saddlebags or tour pack. Both of those amp won't fit in the batwing.

Disagree. I run six 4 ohm speakers on a RZ4 300D. BT 7.1's in the fairing, BT 6.5's in the lowers, and Pioneer 6x9's. The 3000D is very similar to the SS 1000D, if not exactly the same. Not to say you couldn't run two amps. OP, by all means get the Soundstream. You'll love it. It's big but it fits.

Yes John you can run 6 or 8 4OHM speakers off that amp and it'll sound awesome. Your not gonna get the same results running 6 to 8 2OHM speakers on that same amp. The OP is wanting to keep the 2ohm speakers which is why I suggested 2 amps.

Yeah - Airdog unfortunately if you want to run all 2 ohm speakers. Your going to need two amps. A four channel and a two channel. Best combo with your infinity's is going to be the Cerwin Vega B54 and the Cerwin Vega B52. That way each speaker runs off its own channel @ 2 ohms. Killer system! But you need both amps. Can't run 2 ohm speakers in parallel.

Airdog if you keep your system at 6 speakers you can keep the pn4.520 and mount a pn2.350 or a pbr2.300 on the side with a second amp bracket from Hog Tunes. This will keep everything inside the fairing and will allow each speaker to have its own channel. If your dead set on running 8 speakers then you'll need a 4ch amp instead of a 2ch and you'll have to mount it in the bags. Hope that helps.
You could check on the size of the B52 and compare it to the pbr300. It may fit on the amp bracket as well.

Agreed. That 520.D will make those speakers scream. I guess I didn't realize he already had the 520.D. Yep. Great advice from my friend Bates!!

I'm just asking? has anyone heard of someone getting two pn4.520 in the faring of a 14? I may have to return the SS and order two smaller Amps (like the B54's) but I'm looking to keep this builds price down as much as I can. Cheaper to order another SS for around $100 than spending $410 for two B54's.

I saw that you had a '14 but it didn't register!!!!! Definitely not gonna fit 2 amps in the fairing and the Hog Tunes second amp bracket I suggested won't work either. No way around putting a second amp in a saddlebag with this setup.
