Thanks John, Ill let everyone know how it goes. The amps will be here tomorrow and the lower inserts will be here Tuesday and of course I go back to work and on tuesday so might be a week or so but I plan on doing a dry fit of the Amps monday.
Ok sorry for the delay with updates but work has been kicking my azz!! All i have completed is installing the 5x7 in the speaker lids. That is a very big pain I would not recommend using Kappas in the HD lids with V-twin adapters I have been trimming the plastic for a few hours and I only have one done.
I'm stating to install the Amps and have a question for you Audio experts. (I've hooked up 4 channel amps in cars that have 4 inputs) I'm doing this is stages. Front 4 then rear 4.
I'm hooking up the fairing and lower speakers on Amp #1. I know i can get the two input signals from the fairing speakers but how do i split that so I can use all 4 outputs...
I'M using V-twins wiring harness.
Sorry if that doesn't make sense... I just cant find the Answer.
Those who have had there hand in car audio know you can run below 2ohms but not with the little amps people use on motorcycles. I have seen 12volt amps that will run .5 ohms all day long. Most important thing is to read what the manufacture says the amp can handle. Its all in the spec book all you have to do is follow it.

I have 2 amps and use y-connectors (splitters) for my RCA's.

Not a good idea on a motorcycle. These amps need to stay as cool as possible on a Motorcycle. Anything under 2 ohms is going to tax the charging system. Not only that. The amp will get hot and fry. I would never recommend .5 ohms. Very risky on a bike.

That I understand, but what do I need to use so I can use all 4 outputs of the amp. with just the front left and right fairing speaker inputs? Or if I hook up 2 channels of the amp will 4 outputs work?? Thanks for the good info but I think Im driving myself crazy and starting to loose what like mind i had..lol

HAZE nailed it for you bro. Y-connectors are the ticket. Split the front channel off the HU to the 1st amp and the rear channel off the HU to your second amp using a combination of male and female RCA's.
