They are Identical amps. Either one will give you the clean power you are looking for. I love them both. I tend to lean toward the SS1000D only because there are no handles to take off. The PA 3000D has handles on it that have to come off before install. Both amps will push the BT7.1's hard. You should be fine with the Sony HU with 2V. The amps are powerful enough to compensate.
