Boom Stage 2 Speaker "Balance"
I'd like to keep this thread about the Boom Stage 2 System and not have it drift into "bad system", "shoulda bought a BT", and "wrong choice" kinda hijack.
I just bought a 2014 SGS with Boom Stage 2 installed and it does have the current firmware version 1.19.1. Only had it out a couple times but yesterday I noticed the right speaker coming in and out. Sometimes it appears to be equal with the left speaker volume but most times the left (clutch side) is distinctly stronger (louder) at any volume level than the right (throttle side).
Is this still a firmware issue? Are some of these systems just lemons? Or do I need to look at the install?

When you are talking about the firmware, it looks like you are referring to the head unit. There have been a couple of updates to the amplifiers themselves which need to be done by the dealer (cannot be done with a thumb drive at home). If you don't have the absolutely most up to date software in the amps, that is where I would start.

It's hard to say what the problem is. Is there a chance one of the speakers is blown? Is one of the amp channels cutting out? The cutting out issue was definitely a problem, but I thought it was corrected with the latest flash.
When you are talking about the firmware, it looks like you are referring to the head unit. There have been a couple of updates to the amplifiers themselves which need to be done by the dealer (cannot be done with a thumb drive at home). If you don't have the absolutely most up to date software in the amps, that is where I would start.
