Thanks to all the help here, along with all the post's I read, another newbie install success!
Sony MEX-100BT
PN4. 1000D
BT 7.1's
Kicker 41KSC674
BT HU install kit
I don't have the 7.1's installed yet, (haven't arrived) So I'm only running off the rear kickers. All I have is wow. Far exceeded my expectations. Was cranking some Susan Tedeschi last night when the wife came running outside from a sleep yelling to turn it down, The neighbors! (We live in the country, closet neighbor is 1/2 mile away) Anyway, Can't wait for the BT's to arrive!!
Saw your note brother. Sweet!! Glad it's all hooked up.....now wait till you connect those 7.1's. They are louder and have more low end than the Kickers.
how are you getting along with head unit programing , I am reading and reading and find it very hard to understand slope, crossover, gains, sound field, timing, eq .
To top it off just switched from dish to direct and have to figure that crap out pretty tired of electronics at the moment .And hope you enjoy your new system congrats

I hear ya .... I asked Haze what to set my amp at. I did exactly that and it sounds killer. To the point of not needing to fool with it at all. There is way to much involved, as you indicated, to try and understand everything. I listen to the experts and follow advise. Leaves more time to drink beer, play with the kids and ride.
